Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, formerly West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), is a State Government Technological University in West Bengal. It was founded in the year 2000 and has 192 affiliated Engineering Colleges all over the State. The University provides facilities for the quest of degree and advanced-level courses in Engineering, Management and other professional areas through affiliated institutions and in-house departments. The University is recognised by UGC and has been awarded B++ with CGPA of 2.87 by NAAC on first visit.
